In this series Baba was photographed by Padri in Bangalore on 31 March, 1940. Baba is gesturing "How should I act?" Padri answered, "Just go on talking to the mandali, giving orders, talking to the masts, whatever you want. I just want to take your action pictures." In this photo Baba is drawing a letter of the alphabet on his hand to clarify a gesture.
